"About two weeks after finding out I was pregnant, morning sickness and nausea set in. I was concerned the baby wasn't getting the proper nutrition because I didn't feel like eating, and if I did eat something it was bland crackers. After one session with Sara I was armed with a number of great ideas to a) ward off morning sickness and b) make sure I was eating the right things to grow a healthy baby, especially during those first several weeks of critical development. I increased my protein intake and immediately felt less nauseous, and with her helpful recipe and supplement suggestions I was confident I was giving the baby everything it needed.
A little later in my pregnancy I discovered my blood platelet count was significantly below the "normal" range. I scheduled two more visits with Sara, and with her help I started new supplements and tweaked my diet in a way that resulted in a significant improvement that got me out of the "critical" zone. Sara's kind approach, infinite knowledge about nutrition, and arsenal of recipes helped me ensure I was properly caring for my body and, most importantly, our baby.
